2020 South Penn Season Ready To Go!!

After a spring full of uncertainty, the South Penn League will be starting its 2020 season on Saturday, June 20. Two new teams - the Hagerstown Braves and Shippensburg Stars - join last years teams to form a 10-team league this season. Hagerstown will visit Hanover for a 1:00 pm doubleheader to kick off this year's season.

The league opted for an 18-game regular season which will conclude with games on July 30. A yet-to-be-decided playoff format will kick of the following week. Each team will play the other twice during the year, some as home-and-away single games, and others as a one-time doubleheader. In order to avoid excessive travel, as well as accomodate some teams that do not have home fields available this summer, teams have agreed to a slightly unbalanced home and away split. But the main goal was to try as best we can to get back to baseball again!
