Negro's 4 RBI Drives Pirates By Dodgers
Matt Negro homered, doubled, and drove in four runs to lead Cashtown past Littlestown by a score of 8-2 Tuesday night at Cashtown. Chris Schachle, who homered, and Michael Tempel were both 3-for-3 for the Pirates. Chase King went the distance on the hill, striking out six. Joe Murren had two hits for Littlestown, including a solo homer.
New Oxford pitcher Doug Politz struck out 12 hitters in six innings of work as the Twins defeated North Carroll 7-1. Anthony Lippy led the Twins 12-hit attack with three hits, and Matt Martin and Brady Topper chipped in with two apiece. Ryan Gerber had two of North Carroll's three hits, and Trevor Boring stole home for the Panthers' lone run.
