Raiders Remain Perfect, Edge Black Sox
Despite managing just a pair of hits on the evening the Hanover Raiders won their sixth game of the season, edging Biglerville 4-3 Tuesday in a makeup game at Diller Field. Adam Smith doubled and Bob Taylor singled with both driving in runs, as the Raiders took advantage of three walks and four Black Sox errors. Jon Karlheim went six innings for the win, while Brendan Delridge struck out six in the hard-luck loss. Noah Ayers had two hits for Biglerville.
In other South Penn action from Tuesday, Littlestown pitcher Sam Zeigler stuck out 12 in a 4-2 victory over Gettysburg. Joe Murren and Justin Keith had two hits each for the Dodgers. Gettysburg outhit the Dodgers 8-5.
