Shutouts Abound in SPL Thursday

Chris Schachle's 5-RBI night helped propel Cashtown to an 11-0 win over Biglerville in 5-innings Thursday night at Cashtown.  Chace King allowed just two hits over 5 frames for the Pirates, who have not allowed a run through three games thus far.

Hanover blanked Littlestown 10-0, their second shutout win over the Dodgers in as many weeks. Andrew Burke allowed one hit and struck out 5 over five innings. Alex Smith, Adam Smith, Bob Taylor, and Clint Roche each had two hits for the Raiders, with Roche belting a home run. Joe Murren had the lone hit for the Dodgers.

North Carroll won 7-0 by forfeit over Brushtown, who did not have enough players at game time.
