Twins and Grays Battle to Tie in 8

New Oxford and Gettysburg played to a 2-2 tie in eight innings Thursday at New Oxford High School before darkness set in.  The Grays scored two in the top of the first on a pair of infield singles by Tyler Martin and Zach Koons followed by RBI groundouts from Logan Carbaugh and Cory Rice. The Twins trailed until the home half of the fifth when Larry Baumgardner singled and scored on Brady Topper's sac fly, and Jeff Deveney singled and was delivered home by Davey Zaminski's single. Baumgardner, Deveney, and Austin Roth had two hits each for the Twins.

Hanover and Biglerville were rained out. That game has been rescheduled for June 11 at Diller Field.

No results were received from the Brushtown at North Carroll contest.
