Burke, Phillips power Raiders past Pirates to knot series
Andrew Burke fired six scoreless innings and Mark Phillips blasted a pair of home runs to lead the Hanover Raiders past Cashtown 8-0 Saturday afternoon at Diller Field. Kody Kibler had three hits for Hanover, while Phillips, Pat Brady, Clint Roche, and Bob Taylor each had two. Burke struck out six against just a pair of walks and three hits allowed.
The win by the Raiders ties the series at 1-1, with game three Sunday at 1:00 at Cashtown.
