WIth Littlestown's field needing extra time to dry and both teams wanting to avoid the possibility of further wet weather forecast for next week, Littlestown and Cashtown have agreed to flip-flop their home games scheduled for this weekend.
Game 2 will now be held AT CASHTOWN on Saturday, with a 6:00 p.m. start time. Cashtown will be home team. Then on Sunday, game 3 will be held at Littlestown at 1:00 with the Dodgers serving as home team. Game 4, if needed, would also be at Littlestown Monday night, and game 5 will remain on its regularly scheduled date of Tuesday, Aug 7 at Cashtown.
Hanover and New Oxford have postponed their game scheduled for Saturday due to wet grounds. They will try to get game 2 of their playoff series in on Sunday at 1:00 at Diller Field.
The Littlestown Dodgers rallied from a 4-0 defecit to forge a 4-4 tie in game 2 of their semifinal series with Cashtown Friday night. Then in the sixth inning the rains came, ending the game in a tie. The game will be replayed in its entirity Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. at Littlestown's Memorial field. Game three will then move to Cashtown on Sunday at the normal 1:00 p.m. start time.
Hanover and New Oxford were forced to scrub their playoff game again on Friday due to saturated grounds at Diller Field. The two teams hope to tee it up again on Saturday at 1:00 at Diller Field.
As of 3:30 p.m., Cashtown and Littlestown's game at Littlestown for Friday is ON.
Littlestown and Cashtown have postponed Thursday's semi-final game 2 due to wet grounds. They will try again on Friday, August 3, at Littlestown.
Hanover and New Oxford have also postponed their game for Thursday and will also play on Friday, August 3, at Diller Field.
